Do you believe astrology can make people judgmental? And, if so, how to deal with it?

I have not come to this section for a while because I felt there was too much judgment and not enough understanding when discussing astrology. Turns out I just made friends with two girls who asked me my sign and are doing the same to me in real life (grr). And the funny thing is that these girls are just going off of sun sign, which shows how little they truly understand about it. Why do people misuse astrology so much? It's supposed to be used for self-growth and to understand others better. So then why do people use it to judge and alienate others? I just think it's so stupid and makes people look so ignorant. I'd rather never talk about astrology for the rest of my life if that's what it's going to keep getting boiled down to.Do you believe astrology can make people judgmental? Narrow minded ignorance is what makes people judgmental. Over time this has been expressed in the form of religious zeal, political extremism, and even witch hunts. We just have to avoid ignorance where ever it is, and embrace the enlightened people in the astrological community when we find them.Do you believe astrology can make people judgmental? I love astrology but I definitely see where you're coming from. I've started basically disregarding people romantically who I don't approve of astrologically. I sometimes treat people a little differently based on their signs too. I am always worried that it's all bullshit and I'm just eating it up and possibly missing out of some decent people. But what can I say! Everytime I try and date a gemini it doesn't work! So that must have some merit.





But, if I ever judged someone based on their sign and later realized my perceptions were innacurate, I would ignore their sign.
I think the people that are judgemental already were. Learning horoscopes or not has nothing to do with ignorance.. Look at the people who lurk in this section and bash the people who do believe in it... They're stupid and judgemental and dont believe in it [or at least claim not to]. Whether it's in this section, law, football, or w/e, people are going to either be dumbfounded a**holes or not. Just ignore them the best you can. It's actually quite fun watchin them make themselves look like idiots.
Astrology does not make people judgemental. Those people were like that to begin with. People are judgmental about everything, whether it's politics, looks, money, religion, etc. That's just how people are, unfortunately. Yes, when people think astrology is only sun signs is very annoying. But if you try to explain to them real astrology, their minds won't be able to comprehend it all.
People are judgmental in general. Everyone is. Some are more judgmental than others. You need to ignore it and not take it seriously. It is a waste of energy. Try to enlighten those 2 girls about birth charts and all that jazz. If they still behave the same way as before, drop them. I wouldn't want people like that in my life.

Bottom line is this. Every astrological sign has its good and bad points but..they all bring something positive to the table too and that is diversity. How boring would this world be is everybody was the same and nobody had any different thoughts, ideas or opinions?





Judge not yest ye be judged yourself.

I don't deal with it. I don't care. If people want to be stupid then let them. I make sure I look up the facts anyways...MUHAHAHA. Then next you deal with the group of people who don't like hearing the truth. Sometimes the truth hurts but it always make more sense...
