How can I win the heart of this girl I knew from high school, even if it's temporary?

A few days ago I was on Facebook and noticed that this one girl who I had friended a long time ago had disappeared from my friends list. I re-searched her name and found her again, sent a friend request. I saw she had far fewer friends than before, I was assuming that she had her account deleted and had to re-make it. I was out with my friends yesterday at my local mall (they went to different high schools than I did), and I knew that girl worked there from my high school. I'm single, age 20, shy, never had a girlfriend, and they're trying to get me to talk to girls. I think I'm a pretty reasonable guy, I have money, a car, a full time job, great at upholding friendships more than anyone else. I graduated high school 3 years ago with the girl who I just friended on Facebook. I knew that she worked at that store from before. I saw her behind the cashier counter, so I grabbed a bag of white pretzels and bought them at her counter. We talked for a couple of minutes ';Oh hi, long time no see. How are things?';, and other things of that nature, and I introduced her to the couple of friends I had with me, whom I met after we graduated high school. I found out through her Facebook page (when I re-added her) that she's single. A few hours later, when I was at the movies with the friends I was with, I got a couple of text messages from Facebook saying that she posted a comment on my Facebook page about how it was great we saw each other, and that those were her favorite pretzels too. I think she's really cute (as far back as when I was in high school with her I admired her from afar), and an overall great package. I found out when I saw her in the store that she may be going back to Washington state (I'm in Illinois) for college. She was going there before but returned to Illinois for some reason. I was intending on replying to her on Facebook saying that we should keep in contact, since I lost contact with most everyone I knew from high school, and it'd be great to talk about things. I had her in a couple of my classes but never was ';that close'; with her. Probably as close as sitting in the next chair over from her, talking a little bit.
